Air tools and tight spaces
Air tools and tight spaces
I have a 1/2" air impact wrench by crafstman, it's a bit bulkier than can fit in some small spaces. I really need a decent tool that I can fit into small spaces, especially because in the small spaces it's usually impossible to use a breaker bar.
What do you guys thing I should get next:
3/8" ratchet 65ft. lbs
or
"Mini" 1/2" or 3/8" impact gun.
Looking for something compact that I can squeeze into small spaces. I know that the ratchet won't have the "hammering" effect but are they any good at breaking loose nuts that are rust-welded?

I'd personally prefer a 3/8"s impact before an air ratchet. If you're careful and wrap tape around them you can use swivel's, over time you'll get it down to a science so you're not banging them off of your safety glasses or knuckles, or crawling under the bench to find your socket..........
