I've had my car on stands on the side of the road for 10hrs+

No garage FTW

I am hoping to be cool enough to do an engine swap on the street some day

You will realize with 24' x 24' that you will run out of room at the front and rear with a car in there.Especially if you ever wanted to pull an engine in a car the size of the max and not have half the car out of the garage. Maybe thats not an issue with you being in NM.
I need to talk the dude into that (30') Extra storage FTW

BS. You can do a motor swap in a 11x21 space with the door closed. I did it back in the day...

And I'll never do it again.

I've actually been considering getting one of these

Sure it's no garage, but it may keep the snow off the car in the winter, and keep the rain off it in the summer when I've just washed it, as well as a nice shelter for working on it.

Actually that particular model might be too flimsy for snow, but you get the idea.
Anyone else tried this sort of thing?

let's just say parking the parts car over mud was a STUPID idea. Likewise, parking my car on pinestraw was also stoopid.

No garage here either, but home to good weather 10 out of 12 months(VA).

When its time to do any work on the car, only thing you can do is work on the car in your parking space or in the guest parking lot ( living in a townhouse/condo community has disadvantages)

Your neighbors must reaaaaaly love you by now.

The pavement looks pretty worked over and proves your claim.

lol, well my driveway is sectioned off as is all the other driveways. But its funny you mentioned my neighbors because they sometimes complain to the tapping, banging, and tilting spot light which sometime shines in there windows between 12-3am.lol. But im the 1st one they ask "Do you know anyone that can do this, or that to my car" but saying it in a way to imply that the want me to do it

I also power wash my driveway with simply green after every job because i hate how it looks with stains
