I already have a Craftsman ShopVac and for less than the price of 2 filters you get a new ShopVac, accessories, and a spare filter. Great Deal!

Interesting. They must have caught on. Doubt you can get a raincheck without a printout of the advertised page.

My question now is - knowing the track record of Sears' customer service, those that did purchase them, are they going to honor it?

They realized it's a mistake and stopped it before they lost more money. Pretty normal response if you ask me...

An email I just received:

Quote: Subj: Important information regarding your Sears.com order

Dear (me),

Thank you for shopping at Sears.com. Unfortunately, due to either the demand for the item(s) ordered or the method of payment, we were unable to process your order. Consequently, we will be cancelling your order for the item(s) listed below and refunding your purchase
Oh well, it was worth a shot. What BS though, there was no problem with my card. It even posted to my account.

I'm gonna take the printout of the order form to Sears and ask wtf.

It's on my way home from work every day, so I figure it's no wasted time for me.
