need help diagnosing a noise (wheel area)

hi,
i was hoping someone hadsome insight here. the noise is like a metal rattle / clunk sound when i go over a bad spot in the road, seems to be in the passenger rear wheel area.
could this be a strut? strut mount and / or bearing? car only has 18,000 miles, but roads here are bad in most areas.
dealer cant find anything wrong (of course not, its under warranty)
please help!
thanks!

I doubt if it is the strut itself, but the mount/bearing is a possibility. It could also be the exhaust system. Both of those possibilities can be hard to diagnose.

Sometimes you have to wait for it to get worse before it can be found.
