Single Action Coil Spring Compressor?

Anyone have experience with one of these?

Good ... Bad ... stupid of even considering it?

I've got 4 struts to replace removing 4 lowering springs and I am not a fan of the two piece tools but haven't used one of these.

I have not used one of those. But looking at the photo, I have concerns about how strong it is. Looks like stamped metal.

i had one before. i had the OTC version so it was plenty strong. the issue i ran into was when you're compressing a coil spring one arm would be higher than the other so there's a lot of twisting when you're compressing a larger spring. other than that it works ok.
