Uhhh....i htink he wants an explanation of how it works.

All I know is the definition of a SuperCharger is that it causes boost by running off the belt system on the car mechanically.

Therefor, it can't be a SuperCharger if it's Electric.

So I'm sure it's junk.

2kSeattleMax - You should post in the NW forum now and then...we need 5th Gens at our meets!

This belongs in the FAQ's right next to the Tornado Air & throttle body bypass mods.

No other explanation needed.

i was being sarcastic about it, i was even thinking about adding one of my fans from my computer to my intake hopping it would add at least 1psi of boost.

what spins this ?

he says the thing spins 8000 RPM's? does it even have a motor? i just don't understand this thing, seems like just a little no-power fan in a vacuum tube. correct me if im wrong.

I want to buy it and put it on my car so when people look under my hood i can say. yeah, the Stillen SC helps a little, but this thing I got off Ebay gave me an extra 5PSI and 70hp.

it houses a 12V DC motor behind the fan which spins and theoreticaly pulls more air "into" the filter. This is called forced induction. But I doubt that little motor will do anything and to me it seems like it will actaully restrict the amount of air that should be able to get in without that huge fan in there...

they say in the add that this thing can deliver 150CFM at 8000 RPM.. CFM is the volume of air, i dont know how much pressure this will give us. We need to force feed the air in, or in other words, we need to increase the air pressure so that more air goes in... I wonder why they didnt rate this in PSI...could it be that fan is simply too week to create any resonable air pressure at all...?

To me it sounds like a good idea..but I dont think that tiny little motor with a fan blade attached housed in a 3" tube is going to do anything...

What do u guys think of a air compressor which keeps a bottle filled to a certain air pressure, and when we need extra boost, we can use it in the similar fashion as NOS.. once we run out of our reservoir or air, the onboard compressor would refill it.. thereby eliminating refuling costs....just a whacky idea..
