I thought the whole idea of exhaust is to route the gasses away from your engine....

Hmmmm..... silly me, I never realized that the concept of NOS had anything to do with re-routing your exhaust gases away from your intake manifold....

 

Exactly. maybe it's a reverse-turbo? Instead of routing the exhaust back into your manifold, it does the opposite?

I think he's talking about an EGR block off plate.

He's also talking out of his azz about the gains.

 

I think his idea is to block the EGR gases from entering the intake manifold at the back. I'm thinking that you could stuff in a metal plate in front of the EGR gasket and call it a day. Then again, he says your CEL does NOT come on so maybe he has something else in mind. In any case, I think he is saying his mod will meet fed emissions standards but not Cali. Just like the other Ebay "mods," there are no pics because it is mainly the concept/execution that is being scammed--errr... sold!

 

Sounds exactly like EGR block plate. Supra and 3000GT guys have been doing this for awhile. The hard part would be to trick the ECU into thinking it's still functional.
