nice match.. raced a turbo civic...
so i'm minding my own biznass and driving down the road to get on th freeway when i see this green civic come up behind me.. and with a silver box in the front grill.. Front mount intake sys? ithought? whoaaa.. nope.. its this front mount intercooler.... and all i hear is a turbo spool and the civic blows by me..
he then proceeds to get on the onramp and i down shift to third and take the onramp with him.
he speeds up and i'm on his tail by the latter half of the apex and we're now side by side. He slows down and so do i. i dunno if he wants some, but all of a sudden i guess he d/s from 4th to 3rd and a big ploom of black smoke comes out.. so i do the same, d/s to 3rd and i'm immediately at like 4k rpm and boosting at 4...
i'm starting to catchup, shift up to 4th and i start to reel him in... and eventually pass him at 110, i go up to 120 and then i left off (i didnt want him to know that i still have my limiter. hwehehhe) and he then gets up along side.. his girlfriend smiles at me, and i do a courtesy blow-off, and he waves.
prettty cool guy i guess.. at least he didnt flip me off. then we go our separate ways...
just goes to show you.. turbo civics are weak.

What body style civic was it?
Turbo Civics are alot like Mustangs... you never know if they run 15s or 11s. Sounds like you beat him pretty easily... score another for the boosted Maximas.

hey Vinh, i got friends with turbo civics that would run you anytime, for money or for fun. and no their not "haters" No offense, but if they have a turbo car, maybe they didnt think they would run a stock looking Maxima...
