Woah, I know guys im wayyyyy over my head, but I was just wondering....one of my friends has a 95 state trooper z28 with catback exhaust, CAI, and Chip. I know that it has the LT1 and im asking for a crap load but this guy talks so much bull that its unbelievable. Everytime I see this guy first words that come out of his mouth are "Here comes the rice mobile ." Making fun of the maxima in every way possible, all I can do is tell him that he better beat me with a damn V8 and just laugh it off. Well, I just wanted to know what it would take to shut him know....I can only think that it would cost a decent amount to even stay along.....

If that's all he has in Mods, I know a few 5th Gens on the ORG that could spank him..Im sure he thinks we are ricers too..

His car should be running a high 13, with those mods...

BS

A 100hp dry shot with I/Y/E would do it no problem. You would need a full 1/4 mile to run cause you wont get the Z out the hole you will walk him down. I did it often at the track when I had this set up.

When I had my 3.125" pully with ~10psi, I routinely beat LT1's and LS1's also.

Yea thats all he has in mods, one of his more famous quotes " You damn 4 door ricers ." I seriously sit there and laugh, it would be stupid to start a fight with a friend over a car.......ahhah Imagine........BTW I know a few S/c'ed 4th gen guys over there.....Wonder what he'll think about the ricers then ?

I'd have to give it to you bro, your giving me hope. As of now I have an Intake, Y, Cat, Catback, UDP, soon to come JWT ECU...and if NOS can do it, then I will invest in a decent kit... come on guys.....more posts to get me pumped LOL

[Cajun Rob Schneider] YOU CAN DOO EET! [Cajun Rob Schneider]

Seriously, you have at least 200lbs. on him, plus a 3.82:1 axle vs. a 3.42:1 axle. I'd guess (DO NOT FLAME ME FOR GUESSING) he's running about 100hp over you. At least a 75hp shot and a decent clutch. If he's not the driver from hell and you aren't the driver from Greenpeace, it should be more than he'll EVER expect.

Im only familiar with 5th gens. I am very familiar with LT1's. My car ran mid 12's with no NOS or SC . Just headers, exhaust, and gears. It also pulled hard in every gear. I had to have custom motor mounts made, because I kept breaking them with my drag radials. Im not flaming any of you guys. Im just telling you what an LT1 can do ! I hate it too, when someone thinks because a Max is an import, that we are ricers ! ..go for it bro ! I hope you succeed. If any of you guys need infoss on Mustangs and LT1's. I owned, and worked on them for 14 years. Just Email me !

Max420-
Does your buddies F-Body have Z28 badges or does it have no badges? The police F-Body was known as the "B4C". It's not designated as a Z28 nor will it have any Z28 badges. In place on the Z28 on the fender, it will say Camaro. The B4C could be ordered with an auto or 6 speed and the ONLY differences between the B4C was that T-tops, Bose, or leather were not options. The B4C had an upgraded alternator and a oil cooler. That's all. It's not faster than a regular Z28.

With the mods you listed, your buddies "F-Body" is good for mid to high 13s depending on if he can drive. I had a 94 Z28 auto with similar mods plus a Y-pipe and I ran mid 13s. You'll probably get beat pretty badly the way you sit right now. On the highway, it might be a lot closer than he would like IF he has an auto (they don't pull liek the 6 speeds do above 100mph). Get a 50hp shot of NOS and it will be pretty close.

if u already have all those mods, then dont forget that jim wolf does have stage 1 and stage 2 cams for the 3rd gen. those combined with a dry 100shot, and a 255lph fuel pump to support the nos should be enough to really give him a good run 4 his money. damn ur ride looks like a sleeper, i would never expect it.....

I think that Jim Wolfe only makes the cams for the vg maximas, not the VE

if u already pain cash for it and had it installed then keep it on, might as well. i would still stat your ride as a sleeper becasue its a 3rd gen, my first car looked exactly like urs except it was the least ballzy one i had and auto VG. but its your call to keep it on or take it off, i would personally leave it on.

Hopefully it'll look really good with different springs to make it lower and no spoiler, with the N20 and other goodies i should have some decent fun....lol

yeah that 4sure. that sleeper thing can really make things fun, right now i had to throw in my stock clear corners since i have to go to court for then, and everything on the outside of my car looks stock. its not even lowered. but i have a intake and the y-pipe (and a few more) and no1 suspects it at all because the stock muffler is still on. i riped off another 5th gen which was stock by over 2cars.
