Not at all. I would not put up with such distortion in my car.

Yes, a bit, but it doesn't bother me so I left it.

tint film distortion
I had my 02 Max tinted 35% all around last week, and I mmediately noticed the distortion caused by the film from sitting inside. I'm not talking about the milkyness prior to drying out, but the film itself has tiny "waves" or "ripples" in it. It's similar to glare free picture framing glass, with the tiny pebbled surface. It makes the window look dirty and distorts vision, especially with headlights at night, through the side windows. The back winodws are really distorted with the defog wires, but I sort of have to live with that, as I think that's par for the course.
I've never had a car tinted, and I don't know what to expect, as I want to go back to the guy and show him and I liked to be armed with your input before hand so I don't get the BS treatment.
Is your tint distortion free, just like the glass before it was tinted, only darker?
