exhaust setup questions (dtm muffler, ypipe, bpipe)

I'm a newbie when it comes to exhaust mods so I need some help. I'm thinking of getting one of those dtm mufflers off of ebay, just the stainless steel ones, but am i wasting my money or are they worth it, could those duals fit under the space for the exhaust, or will i need to drill a bigger hole. Secondly, I always hear people talking about how y pipes and b pipes help a lot, should I buy the y pipe first or in any order? thanks a lot, ive really got no clue, so any help is appreciated.

The Y pipe yeild more horsepower (A LOT more than the B pipe and muffler)

I dont know too much about that exhaust on ebay.

The order i would go would be Y pipe, Cat-back, then muffler...

a b pipe and a muffler is a cat back, honestly I dont think its worth getting a cat back or b pipe, get a y pipe, pop charger and a muffler and you will be set

Re: exhaust setup questions (dtm muffler, ypipe, bpipe)

What is your first priority? Performance, sound, or looks? For performance the Y-pipe is one of the best mods for the maxima. The factory Y-pipe is the biggest restriction in the stock exhaust system.
If you want more sound than go, get a muffler. Aftermarket mufflers, B-pipes, and cats by themselves yield low hp gains, 1-3hp each. These items offer a greater benefit to boosted or juiced maximas.

Run a search (link upper right hand corner) for exhaust, b-pipe, y-pipe, ect..... for more info.
