ok...there is frame damage in the back...cannot open rear driver door...cannot open trunk...is it even worth buying it back as a daily driver? will get word from insurance either tomorrow or the next for all confirmation...here is wat i am thinking about...buy back the car and use as daily driver...don't fix it...use the money to buy either a toyota or nissan pickup truck...then give the max to my bro so he can do wateva he wants with it...

my true question is...just had to put the maxima in there somehow...i want to buy a pickup truck...as of rite now i'm only considering nissan and toyota...i want something mid-ninty and up in model year...who here has experience with what vehicle and how reliable is it??? tundra is out of the question...something like tacoma and anything below it and frontier and wateva is below it...

 

the toyota is the way to go. if you are after something with some *****, the 3.4 liter in the tacoma is the engine to get. the only downside is that they're kind of hard to come by. (at least where i am.) i did quite a bit of research and almost bought one, but got the max instead.

Wash your hands of it. It doesn't sound like such a vehicle can pass a safety inspection. Unless you're really handy it'd be a pain in the butt I think to part it out, not worth the time. Also, you have to have a place to put it and it becomes annoying to the neighbors depending on where you live. Just too much of a hassle imho.

Get a pickup truck. give something a chance besides Nissan, check consumer reports for more info.
