Hey guys!!!

As you can tell I'm new to the forum and new to Maxima's period. The one I am getting is a 1995 and I need to know what I should replace (engine-wise) to get this thing running like brand new. It has 150,000 miles and still runs great, but I want it to be better. I don't want anything fancy as I am only using the car to drive to and from work and school. I am sure exhaust and intake are the most I will get for performance. What would you suggest for these two? I want the exhaust to sound sporty, but not loud. Just give me any ideas on what pieces should be replaced, i.e. spark plugs, stuff of that nature. Sorry for the huge post and thanks in advance.

Whats up with your name buddy? Are you saying Maximas are ugly? Or are you just refering to your car? Even then I don't think any Maxs are ugly.......unless of course you have not been taking car of it and its rudting all over........but come on Maxs are not ugly, not by a long shot.

Its the gold color and I hate it. The paint on it is all chipped up and it has a huge dent in the rear driver's side quarter panel. It is about to get a new paint job though. It will still be gold though. Plus it still has the factory hubcaps and all the paint has peeled off of them and looks really gross. But really, I do like the Maximas. My folks just bought a 2001 GLE Black w/ grey leather interior fully loaded. It has 3000 miles on it and they got it for $24,000. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Spike Dykes(sp??) the coach for Texas Tech football, did some commercials for West Texas Nissan with the car and for whatever reason it just wouldn't sale. Then again in Midland/Odessa, "if it ain't a truck it don't sale." I'll try to post a pic of it soon. It is sweet. Sorry for the novel.
