I ordered it well over a week and a half ago and it still hasn't even shipped out yet, I am about to pop to get it. The last time I talked to them the were "assembling the kit and shipping within two days", that was a couple of days ago and it still hasn't shipped. Anyway I guess I need to learn patience!

On another topic, to all of those with the Stillen Big Brake upgrade I now have about 500-750 miles on it and yesterday the right side started squealing really loud when light brake pressure is applied, does anyone know what might be causing this. I broke them in properly.

Blake, you should have order the SC through Avalon Racing. When I ordered mine, I received it pretty fast.

about the brakes... are you sure the rotors are on the correct way? (Euro style brakes the vents flow against the direction of movement while Japanese style brakes flow in the same direction hehe watch this / = euro style \= J style

if its not this I have some squealing from the brakes when they are straight cold thats about it under the same conditions you describe but when the brakes heat up a bit it goes away

You need to lube up the big brake kit pretty good or else they will squeak. Use anti-squeal compound on the back side of the pads and high temp lubricant on brake caliper harware.

Stillen only makes a limited amount of kits per year thats what the guy had told me last Aug when I was about to buy one. I think you should have gone thru avalon as Michael just pointed out. But ooh well if anything goes wrong you ll get direct custmer service from Stillen but they are D!cks about customer service I was going to buy stuff from them but heck no I ll never buy **** from those id!ots they are az@holes all the way...

 

stealin sucks, i waited about 3 weeks for mine. They said they were putting the kit together how long can that possibly take.


p.s. I think I possibly got a COMPLETE supercharger kit with all the correct parts. Stealin actually did something right

 

They don't have them just laying around waiting to ship, they assemble the kit after you order, so it takes longer, but it's not a part that gets ordered very often, so they dont stock them.

 

That doesn't sound too promising. That's why when there's a problem they hide like roaches when the lights comes on, not that my house has them or anything!
