hid foglights
hid foglights
just went to a performance shop this afternoon to buy pia extreme white for my fog lights. the owner recommended that if i want a bulb that would match my hid go for the real hid foglights. he showed me hannabi (if i spell it wright) kit 6000k with h3 bulb and ballast. he told me he could install it as a foglight for $500 (kit and installation) and he would rewire my switch so i could turn the foglights w/o turning any lights as long as the keys are in the ignition. does anyone tried this i their max? by the way the pia extreme white was $62
any input is greatly appreciated

If you do that, you won't even have to get HID headlights. But yes, make sure that you have a protective film covering your foglights to protect it from road debris. I think it sounds like a good deal for product and installation. Go for it. Just test the bulbs before you let them install it and make sure that they clean the bulb with alchol to get rid of any smudges.
