I did this last weekend to cover those black fading B pillars. I’m sure a lot of you know what I’m talking about. The laminated like covered sheet with adhesive backing came from AP –Signworks (Maxima owner here)

This is an extremely close shot, however its very subtle (don’t notice more then 4 feet away), and a nice touch, plus solves a problem. What do you guys think? I can now do them about 10 minutes a side now, completly behind the seals, and trimed. You can't really tell from the photo, but it has some depth to it like carbon fiber.

Here is a side shot of my car.As you can see the B pillars look normal.(Got new digi camera) I really need to lower it, and looking for the right combination, so don't knock me too bad. I’ve notice that a lot of people here according to recent posts don’t like chrome rims? I though these complemented the door handles and the window trim on the GLE. Are these “ghetto” in anyone’s opinion?

i love cheap but effective mods

hi-
Looks tight! I have seen some of the smaller Benz's with carbon fiber in the same spot and it looks good. Im not a big crome fan, but it doesnt look ghetto. I love thoes rims though so it makes up for it j/k. It will look awsome lowered.

That looks great

Where did you get the sheets of CF? And is it hard to trim/cut?

He got it from me. I'm the owner of AP-Signworks. Email me at apsignworks@hotmail.com if you're interested, it's very easy to apply, like he said, it only takes about 10 minutes per side.

Use a razor blade knife. For the front doors, rap it around to the inside of the door then trim. For the back doors, trim, and tuck under the rubber seals. When you are cutting from the sheet, just make it close to your correct size you can. Stick it on, press it downs smooth with your fingers. (don't worry about over lap) then trim to fit. You will know where to cut as it is thin, and you can follow the lines of the B Pillar.

Thanks for the complements.

this is another shot of the wheel.
