I agree that ArmorAll is not the best but I think there are other alternative inexpensive choices. I use Black Magic and it works well on the plastic and rubber.

For interiors

We prefer IBIX Sheen for the inside, as it is not silicone based and does not add a greasy feel. For detail finishing we use Stoner Trim Shine and Shine Spray.

For the rubber, we use Superior Cover All. This product lasts longer and provides a protective finish to the trim.
Products like Black Magic are good but do not have lasting properties.

Regards

Try Meguiars #40 Vinyl and Rubber cleaner. It does not leave a glossy, slippery mess and lasts a pretty long time.

The stoner products worked the best for me especially the interior easy shine spray. Sprayed it on my chevys dash three four months ago and still has a pretty dam good shine Stoner is one of the easiest companies that I have worked with. 3M was one of the worst when it comes to customer service. I own my own detaling biz so I wholesale straight from stoner and recommend there products fully.

You can get the Meguiars stuff at any automotive store like Trak Auto or Pep boys. For leather try Lexol...

An easy to find (Pep Boys) leather cleaner/conditioner is Meguiars "Leather Cleaner & Conditioner". It doesn't leave the leather shinny or slippery. It's probably a good ide to do the leather as often as you wax the car.

For rubber,

I use Meguiars rubber conditioner (not the cleaner/conditioner type) and it is pretty good.

I haven't try anything yet.... but I will try Lexol because I heard it is pretty good.
