I know that I am losing a few hp with the stock muffler, so I want to try something else. I know there are people using dynomax super turbo mufflers. The hooker is supposed to be quieter than a dynomax or Borla, and better sounding too. I have heard one on an LS1 and it sounds good, not too loud. It is quiet at idle, and sounds good at WOT, and best of all no drone. I want to know how it will sound on a v6 though, cause a v8 is a completely different sound. A 2.5 inch muffler is only $50 too. Let me know what you guys think. I am still thinking about a 5th gen muffler too, but they are expensive and it is only 2.25 exhaust, plus I like a little sound anyway.
