Re: Civic VS Maxima.. WHo would win??

Do you know what engine the CTR has? I don't think a civic with a JDM D16 is much of a threat. However if its an ITR B18C5 in the civic, it would smoke the 5th gen.

A B18C5 in a hatchback will run aleast low 14s without any other mods.

Civic typed R

R for Rice.

I used to drive 5sp 94 civic ex sedan...it is slow
in fact, the only cars i could beat were inline 4s, including integras (by inches)

2.2L accord is fast...
even the Prelude was faster.

Not anymore.
My 95 auto whoops 10,000 civic 5spds.
Does CTR comes with neon tubes stock? :-)

Re: Re: Re: Civic typed R

a civic hatchback with a B16 engine swap at the track was running consistent low 15's, I ran him they will get you on headstart but you ll edge them at the end.

OK..
The civic: 5spd with intake, catback, headers, and other basic boltons...
Maxima: auto with y-pipe, catback, advanced cams, vb, borted out engine, and tranny mods..

I think it'll be close..

Let's put it this way, the automaxima beats most 5spds maixmas...
So does the civic...

If the owner has it all setup right, that Civic will run mid 14's all day long
there's a Civic Hatchback out here with a B18 in it that was running 14.4 but something is wrong with it so it only runs 15.6 right now.

what was the B18 engine?
GSR right?

What is an H22B? The H22A is the VTEC Prelude motor. The B16 was the previous gen Civic Si motor and the B18 was the last gen Integra GS-Rs motor.

b18b = ls/se/gs
b18c = gsr
b18c5 = typeR

if he has a actual b18c5 he will beat the maxima once he's into 5000rpm+

though with all the ricers around, i wouldnt be suprised if his idea of civic typeR is a civic with the typeR badging

lol
