Bees Wax in SEAT!!!
Bees Wax in SEAT!!!
Anyone know if it is possible to get bees wax out of the seat???
I don't think that the wax is the problem. I think its the combination of the wax and the dye that was used. It has created a big hard spot on the rear seat that is in (not ontop) of the fabric.
Any and all suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.

Well you actually kind of want it to be hard. I had a beeswax candle that dripped on a sofa and made quite a bad mess (which wasn't noticed for several days). I used an ice cube to make it as hard as possible and then scraped as much off as possible with an old, dull knife (go from outside in), then apply dry cleaning fluid (you can get Afta by Guardsman from the supermarket), work the wax out of the fibers and blot it. If there is still wax there, try covering w/paper towels and using a warm iron to heat it up and have it absorb into the paper towels (green 2KSE
) and then reapply dry cleaning fluid if necessary. Advice given for you to take at your own risk. I go the candle wax off my couch and then cleaned it with woolite upholstery cleaner and it looked fine. Good luck!
