all but this...

car hesitates to downshift a bit...
when driving "fast".. car seems to limit itself to 3.2k rpm in 3rd gear then after going a bit faster, it then increases a bit THEN shifts to four.. (noticed this with O/D off too, it will limit to the same when it gets to 3rd gear, as the car gets faster... THEN the rpms continue going up)
all this, ever since i had to jump start..
could it be battery>? alt. ? battery has tested good.
have;nt tried anything else.

my lights dim when i use power windows or air horns while the car is ON


but everything else is A OK

It's normal for the slight bump in RPMS before each shift. It's part of the smoothing out of the shift. If you floor the gas, you will notice the transmission will not shift like that.

let me describe more.. it never did this before

off into first feels normal
shift to second feels normal then to third feels normal

but.. when third reaches 3.2k rpms.. ( usually when i try to get a little more power out of third gear... it will almost stop me from going past 3.2k rmp..)

liek the car will actually SLOW down and level off at 3.2k rpm in third gear... i have to wait for momemtum to take me a bit faster, THEN it will continue up the rmps, and then shift normally into 4th... it's not BETWEEN gears... it;s DURING a gear

... plus.. the car... i slam the gas.. and i don't get the power i used to before... sometimes it will NOT down shift at all.. it will just hesitate..

THEN down shift.. it's TOO much of a wait for it.. it used to be instant

coud it be a clogged injector or gunked throttle body? I have 98000 on my 95 5 speed and it does this at about 2500 rpm or so. It's odd
