toyota has double the sells of everyone else but only has 5 billion profit compared to nissan 3 billion profit. i wonder why that is?

I would double-check those figures. 5 billion is alot--look at GM, 600 million. According to that scan Toyota's income is 8 times that of GM? Just like when using mapquest, a reality check is needed. FYI I just looked at Toyota's figures in YEN and there was ordinary income and net income. Net income came out to 4.58 billion using 120 yen to $1 US. So it looks to me that Dow interactive takes some liberties in rounding up, their number is off by 8%. It's pretty annoying the way those publications like USA Today always put complicated info into a format for those who can't read but can look at pictures, with their BS charts....
