They make S0-3s and other high performance tires in 50 or 55 series. Turanza is like RS-A--a high volume tire. If you've got a Neon, Grand Am, it's fine. A Maxima SE, ok. A Crown Vic Police Interceptor, ok. But the RS-A made it all the way up to the A6 Quattro 6-cyl. If it made it up to the 4.2 8 cyl I'd say the same thing, for $1300 more I'd upgrade, because that tire is not appropriate for a car that costs that much. Technology is such that 40's and 35's ride very well. You may believe Turanza is peachy on the 5.9 sec bullet called the 745Li, BMWCCA members don't agree with you. Pick up an issue of Roundel if you want to keep pusihg the Turanza, or Bridgeston for that matter. Or maybe you're just the devil's advocate.
