Man, I'm having Engine trouble too -> SC related

I got my car back from the dealer today. Code 0215 is now fixed(may have been cause by too much suction in the fuel tank?). I had Nissan replace vent control valve under warranty. BUT it was masking code 0608 (P0301). Cylinder 1 miss fire. Duh :< They don't want to touch it and they advise me to take it to a performance. However, the engine is now making a humming noise when I let off of shifts in the range of 3000-2700 rpms. I think may have been some damage done when the first part went and the engine was not able to deliver the extra fuel.

btw: which one of the cylinders is number 1????

Man, I having the worst month. I have a 1200.00 vet bill( and just spent 968.00(inspection for other car and windows repair...kids shot the windows out with bb guns).

When my O2 sensor went bad I got ....

one of multiple MIL codes I got was multiple cylinders misfiring. After the O2 sensor was replaced I reset the ECu and they haven't popped up since.

Man, I really hope it would be something that simple. How was the car running before you got the O2 sensor replace?

The car was idling very rough and ...

would be at the point of stalling sometimes not to mention the crappy gas mileage. On two occasions the car did stall when coming to a stop. I had the front O2 sensor and fuel filter replaced and it's been running great since.

The number 1 cylinder (when standing in front of the car with the hood open staring back) the back bank of cylinders farthest to the left.

Hope this helps,

Dont know if the is related to your but here was my last error codes

I Received p440/p1448 error code. The evap control vent valve wasn't working properly. I tested it per the manual and it was always stuck open. I replaced it myself for $50.00.

Now is there some type of correlation between Supercharged Maxima's and this evap control vent malfunctioning. I have heard from 5-6 that have had this problem eventually. There is a lot of extra sucking in that fuel system going on.

Yeah I am a Slacker

http://pub21.ezboard.com/bslackercentral

But in this case that has nothing to do with it just can't get a reliable supply of clears at a decent price.

Re: Hope everything turns out ok.

Thanks. The car and the dog actually go in for surgery next Wednesday. I am going a rafting/Bachelors party this weekend, so hopefully that will take my mind of things for a little bit.
