keep on finding oil or grease all over front right wheel!

i keep finding this black substance all over my rim. as if something is leaking. It is kinda thick, so i don't know if its oil. maybe grease from from bearings? don't know, anyone have any idea. I will wipe it off and it keeps comin back.

If it's on the inside of your rim, it's probably a torn CV boot. Jack it up and have a look, I'd be willing to bed there's a slit or hole in the boot. All the grease that was inside has now flung out all over the inside of your rim.

If it's the boot, you need to have it repaired sooner rather than later. If any gritty material gets in the joint, it will be ruined quickly.

Definately the CV boot. Just get a rebuilt half-shaft from AutoZone for $100. It's easier and a lot less messy than changing the boot, and you get a lifetime warranty. Odds are you would be changing the CV joint soon anyway.

Check the left one while your at it. My outer boots went out within 6 months of each other.
