Well I always thought mine sounded deep and throaty. People from the local DC meets can testify to that. Almost like a mustang. Listen to the MPG on my website on the performance tab.

I have a Pilot Motorsports Race can muffler with a silencer cap. It has an extremely deep sound that sounds like a Turbo Thunderbird with Flowmasters. It doesn't drone on the highway and sounds very smooth and linear. Not at all boomy. I paid $169 for it at a local race shop. To get the deep sound, just look for a muffler with a large can.

Go with the Greddy if you want it to be deep and loud. If you don't want it loud go with the Apexi WS.

I love large cans.....
I loved my Stillen Muffler. Nice and deep, but as most have complained, it does drone......

Won't help, but for the 5th gen guys reading this the HKS muffler sounds sweet with a Y-pipe. Not ricey at all, not like a Mustang (like so many people say about theirs), if anything it reminded me of a Boxster.
