They be alright..

They're definately a noticeable improvement with visability. As far as ricey blue lights go, they're pretty much plain white. Definately a good one to go for if you're not horribly concerned with getting "blue" lights.

get the PIAA gold ion bulbs. So it may not be superwhite, but when it rains, the gold beam reflects off the wet pavement less than regular halogens and especially blue and superwhite bulbs, giving you more clarity.

The piaa s/w are probably one of the best non-blue bulbs, they're a lot better than stock H3s in both color and visibility. I had the piaa 9004s and the H3s matched great with really good light output, but i really didn't like the color too much. Since then i've gotten cuzo blue headlight bulbs, but still have the piaa fogs in, i hardly ever use the fogs now because the colors don't match at all.

I guess I'm a little different. I have currently Hiper Plazma 80/100W 9004 bulbs, and also run my driving lights often (PIAA 1253 gold dichroic driving lights). For my 88 Camry, the lens suck. But I'm considering going the "all-weather look" putting all-weather 9004 bulbs in.

actually they are not that different from the piaa s/w 9004's, they are pretty much the same....i think it was shing who took pics of how the philips bv's compare to piaa s/w and i really didn't notice any difference...i really want to enhance visibility, i don't want that blue look that all these "me too" kids have.

The BV's were godawefully dim compared to the PIAA SW's. That's why I hated them.
