Cast wheels and lug damage
Have any of you experienced having your lugs tightened so much at that the pain in the wheel's lug holes is rubbed off? Or is that standard behavior?

I don't quite understand what your saying. paint? in the lug holes? my wheels are pollished with clearcoat and inside the lug holes have scuffs from the sockets from them turning inside them

Yeah, that's what I meant, thanks
I just thought that the reason the scuffing occured because the lugs were overtightened. I was just wondering if that happened with everyone's wheels.

You could get Mcguard splinedrive lugs. The base of the lug nut is stationary whil the rest of the lug rotates. But it's too late anyway, it's just paint.
