As for the intakes, they have been out for a while now. You may be demo-ing a Stage 2 unit or something.

I guess so, if you like your check engine light always on. Read the other posts above. The 1 intake that has been made for 95-99 max only is for the 7\98-99 but it will fit. That picture that you sent is the intake for the 98-99 max.It also is the same picture for the chrysler sebring and the v6 eclipse, but thanks for the info.

Thanks voltman, and 420Max I can show you a couple other sites with that item listed at '95-'99. And somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 99% sure the differences between intakes is for '95-'96 and '97-'99. And I know somebody who has it on a '99 (that's you pinky ) so I know it fits the '97-'99s. And the only difference is the temp sensor right? And that can be easily put in the pipe and viola no check engine light. Maybe they're working on another intake setup for your car. :gotme

From what I was told by Injen Tech. The intake that is available is for max's from 7/98-99 auto only? If you have an auto then I think your o.k. If you have a stick then I would wait because if they had 1 that was correct for manual, I would'nt be taking them a 96 & 98 both 5 speed.
