Lube when installing metal matrix pads

What type of grease should be used to lube the shims and caliper components when installing metal matrix pads with x-drilled rotors?

The only items that get greased are the pins that the caliper floats on. Remove them, clean out the old grease and apply HIGH TEMP grease, then put them back in. You should not grease the external hardware of your brakes.

Use quiet stop anti squeal on the back of the pads before you put the shims on.
