I just bought the APC LED 1157 bulb and installed it. The bulb itself is flat and can only give off light at the top. SO what happened was, only half of my taillight was illuminated. It almost looked like i had a light out, thats how badly it was missing light. I also noticed that in the assembly where the bulbs are plugged into, the sockets are at an angle, therefore not allowing all the light to show through the taillight. With the standard 1157 glass bulb, its able to give off light in all directions, illuminating the entire taillight. Just wanted to let everyone know before they go out and waste $11 a bulb.

yeah those bulbs suck with regular lenses....especially during the day...LED's are made for certain types of lenses...

they are really good for cars whos rear taillight bulbs face strait out, not angled like what we have.

I got the APC bulbs for my corner lights, and it wasn't as bright. This was after I rewired my corner lights. So, I put back my Polarg bulbs, and it was bright! So, I suppose APC only make good headlight bulbs.
