Max 4 lyfe?
I'm probably going to keep mine until I'm 25... then i'll get a camaro SS, or the sports car that chevy makes during that timespan, in an SS version of course. Damn insurance is what kept me from buying a camaro in the first place
You guys aren't reading the post.
He said if your "financial situation restricts or enables you to" meaning M3s, G35s, 350Zs, BMWs, Ferraris and whatnot are out of the question. Either way CoolMax my answer would be NO, because I would still like to try other cars (Civic, Accord, Camry, RSX, etc.).

if my price range was under 30k i would definatly get another max, but if i become a bit "well off" i will prolly get a bimmer, they are so nice. but like sprint said, i will own many other cars but there will always be a max, assuming i dont have any bad experiences with them in the future
Max for life? Dont know, as for the immediate future my 92 will be stickin around for awhile. When it comes time for another car Im not sure if ill want a 4th or 5th gen after having a 3rd gen
but then again all the 3rd gens will have too many miles...oh well maybe ill get a 4th or 5th gen and have to suffer the build quality losses, however enjoy VQ power

I love my Max, but probably won't be with Maxima forever because the new body designs suck. 3rd gen forever.
4th and 5th gen are okay looking, but they don't really appeal to me. I doubt more and more that later generations will be any better.
I like how the 3rd gen has distinct lines and angles, not a bunch of semi-spheres moulded together.

My parents seem like they are going down that route.
They have owned a '90 SE, a '95 SE, and now a '02 SE. All are automatics my mom doesn't feel like driving a stick in traffic
. They still own the '95.
They almost bought a TL-S when looking around back in April, but decided to keep it in the family
.
The '02 will probably be the last Max they buy
