so here i am again.. heading home doing the speed limit.. and good enough too.. i get on the highway and some woman in a black cadilac flies by me.. and as soon as she does.. a State trooper pulls out and pulls her over..

so after i pass the cop.. this kid in a Chipped 1.8T GTI (i know its a GTI from the tail lights.. and i figure he is chipped because his badges are shaved.. and chipped 1.8T are more effective than vr6)flies by me.. and i am like.. wtf.. didn't we just pass a trooper.. so he is on the gas and i pace him.. not passing him.. just sitting about 5 cars behind him enough to use him

so we are going down route 8 and a C5 gets on the highway.. sweet black coupe .. so he cuts in and out of traffic and gets behind me.. i pull over and let him get behind the GTI.. the GTI takes off and he just owns the GTI... so i catch up and decide i wanted some too.. the GTI gets an opening.. and as soon as i could downshift.. i hear the sweet quad mufflers of the C5 and he just blows both of us out the water.. holy **** a little later the C5 guy gets up next to me and looks like he wants to run.. i know better.. i yell out the window.. "thats a sweet car man" he gives a smile and then takes the next exit.. damn that car was sweet.. from the sound of it.. sounded like it had heads and cams.. but then i could be wrong..

 

ive never in my life seen a corvette race in traffic. i thought they had nothing to prove.

 

 

Ditto. 98% of people driving Vettes are middle aged men and don't race. After all they don't have anything to prove!
