maybe it's old news, but wal-mart (the one near me at least) has 5qt jugs of 5w-30 for $17 and some change. Considering 1qt is over $4 ($4.79 at wal-mart), $17 for 5qt is pretty good.

also, it was not on sale... that seemed to be the regular price.

mal-mart sell castrol full syn for $12.00 + tax (5qt jugs)
isn't that amazing? I'm gonna get couple of those soon.

 

I thought I read somewhere in here that castrol full syn is a waste of money.... ??? Is what you're talking about castrol syntec? If it is, you should search and read

Target in Manassas sells or sold Mobil 1 for $2.99 a quart for several months. I haven't checked lately.

 

i decided to got with amsoil and stay amsoil..

 

I recently purchased 6 1 quart jugs of mobil1 full synthetic for $22 at costco

 

I used to buy the mobil-1 5qt but now I can't seem to find a wal-mart around my area that has it. Maybe they took it off the shelves for good. The next time I am there I will check again.
