Need a dealer who will return special order parts
...this is for my little project of trying to put a 2002's 6th gear on a 4th gen transmission. Staring at the FSM for both vehicles doesnt help as 1) I cant tell anything and 2) the drawings arent exactly accurate all the time. I cannot find the dimensions of the gear anywhere so I have resorted to this. I plan on ordering the gears and hopefully they will 1) fit on the input and output shafts and 2) have the correct dimension and number of teeth for the synchroniser mechanisms. I know MOST dealers will NOT return special order items, so I am in search of that one dealer who would have a special relationship with the parts distributor and will return it.
