if i reverse the bolts it'll rub even more.. it just seems like the cap screw severed the stainless steel.. it hasn't rubbed that far through yet.. how much is it for just ONE stainless steel brake line?

I don't think you can buy just one. They come in a pack of 4. I had to buy a whole set for mines. Got it from Phuong at Eatricezone So I only used the rear. I still have a pair for the fronts brand new.

Maybe wrap the head of the cap screw with some duct tape. Conversely, you could wrap the brake line with tape or with rubber heater hose to protect it.

your brake lines should be sticking like a good inch away from the control arm. Or do they not fit in that mounting bracket that the rubber ones did?

With the stillen RSB, the upper right bolt is like a mm or 2 from the brake line. It will rub occassionally.

hmmm.... my RSB brackets are kind of close to the brake lines also... I think to be safe you should try using some rubber hose around part of the brake lines or the RSB bracket.

It shouldn't if you used the spacers, mine have great clearance.

the spacers are for the handbrake cable..

i figured what was wrong... it was bad installation.. when i installed the steel braded lines i mounted them wrong (the part that bolts the hard hose to the brake lines). the brake lines are suppose to be slightly angled towards the middle of the car.. i'm going to fix it tonight.. thanx everybody for your feedback

to be safe, you should maybe wrap up the SS brakeline with duct tape or electical tape. Then you can see if it still touches or rubs. does that sound good?
