Valentine 1 Users: How accurate are the arrows?
For those who own a Valentine 1, how accurate do you find your arrows to be? I've noticed that whenever I pass a radar source, real or false, the "Forward" arrow remains lit for a few seconds before it switches to the "Rear" arrow. As a result, I end up driving past the radar source a few hundred yards with the arrow still pointing "Forward". It has been doing this as long as I can remember.
I tested this out by driving past a supermarket (false K band source) in both directions, using both my hardwired power source and my cigarette lighter cord, and with the detector mounted both in my everyday location (above the mirror behind the tint band) and in the recommended spot on the windshield (just below the rearview mirror). The results were the same every time.
For the record, I own version 1.8, which is the newer, smaller one.
