Angel Eyes, Daytime Demon Eyes, DDE

Could y'all tell me your interest level in these if they were $200 shipped (w/ BLUE and ORANGE lighting options)?

If you are interested, PLEASE tell me WHY?
Also, does ANYONE know the dimensions of the outer AND inner light diameters?

The current ring diameter is 5 1/8"

The kit is a fiber optic kit, NOT LED.

I don't know what they fit or don't fit.
I'm not a Maxima expert

I resell these kits for BMWs and am trying to get a feel for what it would take to include Maximas into the frey.

I know close to nothing, except that Maxima's have a beam rear axle, about Maximas.

I'm hoping your knowledge of the cars will help me make a proper decision for your cars.

if the inside of the light (towards the center of the car) is just a straight line of casing down then no it won't fit 4thgens correctly we will have a gap where our grill comes down and meets the light. we need something with more of a wedge shape to make it fit right.

take a look at the front of a max and see what i mean.

sorry fellas, let me be more specific.

I need a closeup pic of the lights. Specifically the interior of the lights.
Are these lights sealed? Or multi-part attached with clips like Euro Ellipsoids on a BMW? How big in diameter are the interior lights? or surround?

Has anyone taken apart these lights? How much time to remove and take apart?

I think you should do more research before posting something like this. Find a max around your area or buy a pair of headlights. Test fit and make sure it works before posting this. If you trying to make money, then you should do the research on your own. It's something called R&D. Let's not get our hopes up again. At least you admit that you don't know nothing about the maximas. Good Luck and hope it works, other than that you are just wasting most of our time.

Sorry to offend your sensibilities.

Let me be PERFECTLY CLEAR.
You cannot purchase these lights for less than $350. I am trying to sell them to you for almost 1/2 of that price. In return I'm asking you to help with some of the legwork.

I know next to nothing about Maximas, but it's probably in your best interest to help explain it, who knows, if you explain it BETTER than anyone, I *may* decide that since you're such a nice guy and helpful, I'll just install them into your car for FREE.

$75 sounds like an LED kit.

There is NO way to put the increased light output of a FIBER kit (not to mention reliability, modularity, improved ease of install, etc.) in the same $$$$ ballpark. It's just not possible. I know, because this kit is from the INVENTOR of the Demon Eyes!

Looks like many 4th Gen Maxima's have a relatively EASY time of installing the E36 US OEM headlights. I have a contact that can get the lights for probably $30 each, so that's not an issue.

But what about the NEW Maxima's with the 4 ROUND lights (2003)
2002 and 2001 would probably not work right, because those are straight incandescent halogen headlights (sealed too).

Yes, we want a high quality fiber kit for the 2002-2003 headlights. One ring to go around the HID lowbeam, and one for the highbeam. LEDs just won't look right.

hey umnitza 3rd gens(89-94) hav been putting in e36 beemer lights fer awhile now. they fit with very little modification. if you could market a low priced demon eye you would make a good sum of money w/ur 3rd gens.

thanks for the vote of confidence

If we can do it as a single unit and sell it, I'd be happy to do it.

Didn't know that they bolted right up, we've seen some folks that upgraded to Ellipsoids (on the BMW boards) and sold their lights to Maxima owners but didn't really think much of it.

OK, we have a deal then. This weekend we'll tear the US OEM E36 lights apart, put it together and show you.

Then we'll do a group buy for those of you that are interested

I've been able to confirm that due to our contacts within BMW, we'll be able to get NEW OEM US E36 lights for 30% off of list. So, we'll be able to do a package deal for less than 300ish for the WHOLE set.

Not advertising yet, just keeping y'all posted on the developments.

As for the new lights on the 2003, I looked closer at them and it looks like they are similarly sized to the BMW Ellipsoid lights, can anyone confirm this?

This is the best that I could do, but it stinks...someone have a higher quality pic??????

what does that "mean"? Single pair? You mean each side?

HIDs in the BMW world come from HIDs4less.com and are VERY good quality but are pricey @ $550 each for a Stage 1 4300K and $750 for Stage II.

Im confused do these fit right in to the factory spot or are they something where you have to have them custom molded?

They would fit into the existing lights if you'd:
a) modified your 3rd gen car to have E36 US OEM lights
b) have the LATEST GEN Max with the quad lights - looks like this:

I'm borrowing this picture from one of the members who is on this board.
