Dash Kit Install -- Heat before or after "peeling"?

I think it would be easier to heat the peice to "mold" it a bit and then peel off the back to expose the adhesive to apply the peice. Is this correct?

heat then peel

u should not peel until you ar e100% sure about the placeing

Heat as much as possible

I heated the pieces before peeling, then again after. The hotter they are, the better they fit.
