Battery is dying :o(

I think my battery has gone into retirement. Any suggestions on a good, inexpensive battery? I was always one to go to Pepboys and buy cheap stuff but I can't do that to my maxima.

Sears DieHard Gold. That is what my 2k will get when its time. Optima makes a good battery too, $$$ though!

Did you get your alternator replace as part of the recall?

I got the Exide Nascar battery from Kragen. A lot of people will tell you Exide is no good, but they are highly rated (group size 35) on Consumers Reports and I've always purchased Exide for my cars and never a single problem. Sears Diehard is also good.

sears is cool, thinking of the same battery. They have "Northern" and "Southern." Hope Phila. qualifies for north. Same price.

They are also good for tools and appliances. Got me a kick-a** Kenmore freezer on bottom!
