Nice work on the seats and the pipe. If you're referring to me, I never doubted an extension piece would fit there, in fact I was one of the first guys here to propose the idea. What I kept asking you was how you got away with making it a straight piece without the silly bend that the Nissan piece has. Now that I have installed the RT cat and Courtesy B-Pipe on my car I totally understand how a straight piece would work and why the bend is unnecesary.
Can you post a clearer picture of your piece, it is very hard to tell anything from the small picture you posted. I am looking into having my own extension piece fabricated by a header shop. I want it in stainless steel and I want then to make sure they put the very slight angle on the rear-facing flange so it mates up with the Courtesy pipe better. The pipe should be straight though, as yours is.
