I have a 95' maxima SE Auto,

This morning when I went to start up the car it lagged and then just died, so I tried to restart it and it will not even try to turn over. I need to replace a sensor that makes my car stall and cause problems when its cold but now it will not even start or try to turn over for that matter. I thought maybe the battery but its not, anyone have any ideas. I need to get my car up and running soon, my only mode of transportation. Thanks for any help.

Thats what came to my mind after the Batt. Do you know anything I can look for to determine if that is it? Also any other ideas if its not?
