Clicking from calipers...??
I'm getting clicking noises at low speeds from my driver side caliper. freakin brand new brembos.
but i've heard that this is a common problem for some 5th genners too.. anyone know what it is?
is it the CV joint going? possibly?
hm..
only heard this when i put in my new brakes.

when you are just sitting in the car parked, if you press the brake pedal down can you hear it click then?

Yea. its when i press down on the pedal .
i think it maybe a line issue. im gonna rebleed the brakes.
maybe that's it.

cheston I have the same issue, only on drivers side, it started happening after my alignment, and after I got new SS lines put on.. I have no clue, braking didn't seem to be affected.

these are new calipers. and they're tested before they were sent out.
i didnt have speedbleeders (one way valve) for these calipers yet, so i had to bleed them with my friend who didnt really know how, although the pedal is pretty firm, perhaps there is still air inside.

the system as well. I've had this on my to-do list for quite a few
weekends but am still hopeful I'll get to it on this one. It will be
interesting to see how this works out. I have the Wilwood setup so
it seems likely that the common symptom would have to result from a
common source; brake fluid is about the only thing we'd have in
common for the brakes.
Cheers,

I have this problem too. Kind of like a repeated clicking at low speeds on the brakes. Has anyone tried the bleeding yet? If so, I'll do it this weekend. Thanks for the help.
P.S. I only got this after my new brake install too.

Did you know the pistons are magnetic? They pull the pads back when you let go the brakes, so............. pull back *click* (not as audible), push forward *click*, pull back *click* (not as audible), push forward *click*, pull back *click* (not as audible), push forward *click*...
Just a guess.

bleeding is pretty easy
just turn car on,
Pump once, twice, three times, HOLD pedal down,
then open the bleed valve, let it go until you see a constant stream of fluid while watching the resivoir, tighten, then release pedal.
repeat.

Cheston...you feel that it's air in the lines? >>
I've had the same problem...seems to come from the rear brakes. They clink, not always, but when i apply pressure the pedal. A freind mentioned pad to rotor spacing needing to be re-adjusted.
Thanks
