Y Pipe install time?
Question for you guys, I looked up some info, but the mechanic is giving me a hassle. I have a Y-pipe to be installed as part of a trade deal and he says I need to leave the car there overnight to install it due to the heat and what not. I just wanted to make sure that's true and how long it should take him to do. It's the cali spec Cattman Y for the 5g. Thanks all

Overnight?! Before I installed mine I drove around for an hour to pick up nuts and a nutcracker to prepare for stubborn fasteners and I let the car sit for 45 min before I started the install. It took me about 1.5 hrs to complete with hand tools.
When I had to take my car to a shop to replace the Budget unlined flex section with a Warpspeed flex section the tech worked on it the minute I dropped of the car. And I was driving for about an hour prior too!
