turbo vs supercharger

I picked Turbo...
Reasons:
1)You can adjust boost with turn of **** vs. buying new pulley, removing and reinstalling SC every time.
2)N20 bottle eats up trunk space.
3)SC is made by $tealin and is PIA to install.
4)SC kit requires lots of work to get to 300whp, where as the turbo easily puts down 350+whp directly from Nigel.
5)Inorder to get 300whp with the SC/smaller pulley your boosting below 2000 RPMs, which is NOT necessary for around town, but depending on the turbo choice your not boosting till much later plus you can control your boost level via ****.

I will hopefully be in the market for T/C or S/C somewhere around next fall if everything goes right. You've giving me some very helpful information on choosing.
I have two question for you though?
Will I have to do any engine work to accommodate for the power boost?
And which one will cause less stress on your engine?

Being able to boost below 2000 with the supercharger does not mean you are actually boosting while driving around town.

I probably shouldn't of said "necessary", more like still requires work from the engine although it's not being used.

BTW, Nigel likes the lowend power of the SC (drove my car). Ask him about shifting my car into 3rd.

If you have the money get the turbo. Id never get an SC cause ive heard bad things about vortec SC's. N20 is the biggest bang for the buck. After you get all the stuff for N20 it comes out to about 1200 depending on the kit.

1)The V2 will NEVER put out as much power as the turbo with it's 55K RPM impeller limit. And the new GT-Series with 80+% adiabatic efficiency BLOWS(pun intended) the V2 away.
2)The Garrett BB turbo center sections are redefining the definition of reliability and the GT series is redefining efficency by reaching up into the 80+% adiabatic efficiency range, so I wouldn't say that's FACT anymore.
3)Maybe, definitely NOT if you go the same route as Kev.
4)What? Definitely explain that one!
5)Easier as in without a dyno? I don't see the difference.
6)There are TONS of turbo combinations/variations, so I doubt it's going to be all that common. Where as the SC guys have 7-pulley sizes to choose from. That's NOTHING compared to the possible combinations of turbine/compressor wheels and housings.

1 - 6) I have a turbo and i want to remain unique.. so everyone should buy a superchager

Don't worry I'll shut up about that in a YEAR or so.

Turbo timer is just for show.. so when i go to the grocery store or i have someone in my car they say "hey.. your car is still running" .. i ither go "no its not" - short timer situation... wait till it shuts off and make them look stupid.. or "i know " on long timer situations
i don't really have a turbo.. i photoshopped roadbeasts pipes to my engine

being an ex owner of a buick turbo-t and the current owner of a SC Max,i would probably have gone with the turbo if i could of afforded it.
my wife hates our max because we never drive it much because i'm always changing a belt or trying to realign the F#*&^%g thing!
once i get it straightened out though i will throw on a zex kit next spring along with a vb mod.

I forgot the BIGGEST difference.......
TORQUE!!!!
Nigels turbo kit is putting down 369.2 ft-lbs(370hp), where as jhans114 SC w/3.125 pulley is making 279.9 ft-lbs(329.8hp) and Kev's SC w/2.87 pulley is making 246.9 ft-lbs(288.3hp)
The ONLY people getting 300+tq besides Nigel are SERIOUS nitrous sniffers.
