Is this worth it?

OR will taking my own dash kit apart and painting it my color look better, and save me a lot of money??

Re: Is this worth it?

I would say paint it. Think about this, no dash kit will fit perfectly. Not even ours But with darker aluminum, wood, carbon fiber kits you don't notice the gaps. I'm not talking anything huge, but the 1/10" here and there. If you have a white dash kit, those gaps are still going to be there, but there will be the black plastic behind it that is going to show up. And you will see every gap. Plus it's only going for like $130 for 30 pieces. That kit isn't going to fit right. The templates are the same Alkaplus uses (all low cost dash kit companies have the same templates) and we all know how badly Alkaplus fits.

I'd take the time to paint it. Plus if you could paint it pearl white, that would be an even bigger plus.

If you want to paint it the same color as your exterior which in your case is icelandic pearl then check this site out:

Paintscatch.com

They have touch-up paint available in spray cans to make thinks easy
for you.

You can also check this site:

Plasti-Kote

This sray paint is specifically for interiors(dashboards etc.) and won't chip easly because it's flexable paint but be sure to clear coat it, Plasti-Kote paints can be purchase at your local Pepboys.

I was looking at this kit also, and the thing that cought my eye was that if you point a black light at the kit, it will glow.

Kashoggio - the dash looks hot... what type of paint did you use? Approx how long did it take? I am guess 6 hours. Would love to see more pics too!
