Ok, I was sleeping instead of working again, and dreamed up an Idea. Extrude honing cost's major $$$. I have only seen under the 5th gens hood twice, but as I remember, the intake is plastic. Please correct me if I'm wrong. But if it is, is there the chance it's smooth on the inside? And arn't the 4th and 5th gens engine almost the same? If so....

bear with me I'm streching the brain cells on this one.....

Could we put the 5th gen intake and bolt it onto the 4th gen engine, therefore not needing the extrude honing done?
Maybe I should stop daydreaming ......
