Got a flat a few minutes ago. How far can you drive on a donut?

Got a flat a few minutes ago. How far can you drive on a donut?

I have to drive to school tommorow which is 15 miles each way. Anyone know if thats safe on a spare tire? <-- one of those little ones.

thats nothing, ive had to drive alot farther than that on a spare. you should be in good shape, just take it easy.

I think officially the donut when properly inflated has a range of something like 200 miles total. But I bet it can go much further. I keep a can of that inflate-a-flat stuff in my car. If I get a flat, I'll just use that until I can get the car to a tire shop to put a patch in.
