Offset on a maxima for another car.

Lets say I have maxima rims with offset 5x144.3 Would those rims fit a car with 5x115??

Thank you.

Maxima rims are 5x114.3. And no they would not fit 5x115.

Offset doesnt vary between cars, if its 5x114.3 for the max its 5x114.3 for the civic. Meaning, they wont fit..

The funny part is that when I needed a donut a while back and I put 88 cadilac donut with offset 5x115 and it fit on my 97 max. Why cant it be the other way around then.

Firstly that's not offset, it's lug size. Offset is a whole different thing you also have to look into while buying wheels. The Cadillac wheel may have been fine for a short time (as you said it was only a donut), but after a while it will viberate and you will probably bent the rim. The lug size for a Maxima is 5x114.3, the offset is +40. The lug size needs to be the same, the offset can be 35-43 and it will fit fine.

So maxima rims no good on the caddy. Thank you. I was gonna buy some 3rd gen wheels for winter for the caddy.

Better to buy some old Caddy rims. I'm sure there are some low-rider forums where ballers get rid of them dirt cheap, search around.

remember,
i still have a set of 3rd gen SE wheels.. no tires on them though
if you need them.. let me know i'll cut you a good deal.

and yes,
Offset = 36-44 for a max.. i think.. not sure..

bolt pattern = 5 X 114.3 that's 5 lugs.. and the 114.3 is something like how far they are from each other.. not even sure
basically that's the only bolt pattern car that they might fit

and **** the caddy..
get a 2k2
