When Is It To Late 4 Nos???
When Is It To Late 4 Nos???
I HAVE ABOUT 100,000 MILES ON MY 97 SE AUTOMATIC MAX.IS IT TO LATE TO DO A SINGLE FOGER NOS INSTALL,I WAS GUNA GO WITH 50-75 SHOT. MAYBEE 100 NOT SHURE THOE...WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK,IS THIS A GOOD IDEA,OR AM I PUSHING MY LUCK? THNX!
How well does your engine run? I would first do a compression test. If all is well then I would check the condition of your transmission. Have the fluid analized. How is the shifting? Laggy?
If everything checks out well then you should be fine. I ran nitrous in my car for over a year w/o any problems. I just sold the car and it is still problem free according to the new owner.

I can't imagine that would be good for re-sale.
I had over 90,000 miles on my car when I put the nitrous in. I ran a full bottle every week for 30,000 miles without any problems. The car went back to stock and the tranny and engine drive like the day I got it. {I also ran at the track many times}

I have 172,000 miles on my max, and I spray every chance I get!!!
Seriously, if you know your vehicle well enough, you should know whether or not to spray, it's that simple. Do a compression test to start, then the rest will fall in place...

How much is a fill up? Do you have a 10 lb or 15 lb bottle? How many runs on your bottle?

E, for buddah's sake, just get the kit!!!!!
I'm gonna be 50, and you'll still be deciding.
Seriously though, it's 60 bones to refill the bottle. It is too hard to determine how many runs you get out of a bottle if you've never tracked it purely on juice. Mike at D.L MotorSports(one of the best shops in the country, and is the main tuner in ontario/DPE-runs 675hp on his MR2) says roughly 2.5 minutes per bottle...but don't forget, you only spray for a couple of seconds here and there...so it lasts quite long. Only on long stretches of road do you really feel the true power of nitrous. Going from 65-190....

lol ... I gotta sell my two remaining MOMO kits ... the brake pads I have ... then I'll have almost enough US funds lined up to get the NX kit ... I'm going to get it in December when a buddy of mine drives up from NY.
